F.1 “PMQ & Movable Type Printing Workshop”

During the first semester, the Chinese Language Department organized the “PMQ & Movable Type Printing Workshop” for Form One students. Through hands-on experience, students learned about the traditional process of movable type printing, from typesetting to printing, gaining a deeper appreciation of the art of Chinese characters. They also visited PMQ’s creative cultural space to explore Hong Kong’s design and cultural development. The activity provided an enjoyable and enriching learning experience, enhancing students’ understanding of language, culture, and traditional craftsmanship.
