Student awarded First Prize in the Hong Kong Student Science Competition 本校學生榮獲香港學生科學比賽一等獎

The Hong Kong Student Science Competition is an important large-scale competition in Hong Kong. Yeung Ho Hang in 5C from our school had taken part in the Scientific Wallchart Division, with the topic “Energy, Engineering or Environment”. He integrated his science knowledge and creativity to design his green building. He had conducted a field study to collect data and had got supporting evidence from books, journals, webpages and government documents. There were 20 entries reaching the final, and his work was exhibited to the public in Hong Kong Science Park. It is heartening that he was finally awarded the First Prize in the competition! This is a very unique and precious learning experience to students.

香港學生科學比賽是香港一個重要的大型比賽。本校5C班楊浩衡同學參加了科學海報組比賽，題目為「能源、工程或環境」。他結合了他的科學知識和創意，設計了他的綠色建築。他進行了實地考察，以取得數據，並從書籍、期刊、網頁和政府文件中獲得支持的證據。本比賽共有二十項作品進入決賽，而他的作品在香港科學園中作公眾展覽。他最終獲得了一等獎，成績令人振奮！這是一個對學生十分獨特和珍貴的學習經歷。
