Exploring the Hall of Justice — Visit to the Court of Final Appeal

On January 16, 2026, Class 2B stepped into the majestic Court of Final Appeal—where history, architecture, and justice converge—for an engaging and immersive learning experience.

Guided by court docents, students explored the foundations of Hong Kong’s common law system and discovered how the Court of Final Appeal safeguards justice at the highest level. Entering the historic courtroom felt almost cinematic: the judge’s bench, the wooden tables, and the witness stand created an atmosphere of solemn authority.

The highlight of the visit was the mock trial. Students eagerly took on different roles—judges wielding the gavel, lawyers presenting arguments with surprising confidence, and witnesses nervously recounting “case details.” The courtroom buzzed with curiosity, laughter, and genuine engagement.

This visit offered students more than knowledge; it gave them a vivid, memorable encounter with the rule of law and encouraged them to reflect on the responsibilities every citizen carries in building a fair and just society.
