During the first semester, our school organized the “Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage — Tea Cake (Cha Kwo) Culture Workshop” for Form Four students. An instructor introduced the history and cultural significance of Cha Kwo and guided students to make their own tea cakes. Through this hands-on experience, students gained a deeper understanding of traditional food culture and recognized the importance of preserving and passing down intangible cultural heritage.
