Our annual PTA Walkathon at Yu Chun Keung Memorial College No.2 held on 6th March 2026 was a resounding success, held under glorious sunny skies! The perfect weather allowed everyone to fully enjoy the day and celebrate together.
Students, teachers, parents, and guests came together in true unity, starting from school and walking the scenic 2 km route: past Chi Fu Fa Yuen to the Pok Fu Lam Reservoir roundabout, along the peaceful reservoir path, and back to school. The 1½-hour journey was filled with laughter, encouraging words, and meaningful conversations that strengthened our bonds and highlighted the power of our school community working side by side.
We are thrilled to report that, as of 17th March 2026, fundraising has surpassed HK$33,000 – thanks to the generous hearts and collective effort of parents, students, staff, and sponsors. These funds will support activity materials, student enrichment programs, PTA scholarships, improvement awards, and outstanding athlete awards, helping every student grow and shine.
After the walk, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement! Participants enthusiastically joined various game booths, trying fun challenges and winning prizes. The food booths were a huge hit, with everyone sharing tasty snacks and smiles. Other stalls selling different items also drew crowds, adding even more energy and support through sales and friendly interactions.
This Walkathon beautifully demonstrated the spirit of unity – when we walk together, support one another, and share joy, we achieve so much more. It was a powerful reminder of how our school thrives through teamwork, kindness, and shared purpose. A heartfelt thank you to the Parent-Teacher Association, Student Union, all dedicated volunteers, and every participant who made this day unforgettable and truly meaningful.
Thank you for showing what unity looks like in action!
