Our heartfelt thanks go to all the students, parents, and teachers who joined the YCK2 Parent-Teacher Association Spring Excursion on 14th March 2026 (Saturday)! It was a day filled with laughter, exploration, and wonderful memories shared by our school community.

Our first stop was the Kam Tin Heritage Trail, where we stepped back in time to explore Hong Kong's rich cultural roots. Families wandered through historic sites, including the fascinating Tree House Ancient Banyan, Cheung Chun Yuen (Martial Arts Academy), traditional ancestral halls, Second Emperor Academy, and Poon Mo Bridge. Children and adults alike were captivated by the stories of the Tang clan and the early development of Hong Kong.

We then enjoyed a delightful buffet lunch at the Sheraton Hong Kong, Tung Chung. The "Hong Kong Flavours: Tung Chung Night Bazaar" theme offered a wonderful array of authentic local street food and dishes. The relaxed atmosphere allowed parents, teachers, and students to chat, laugh, and bond over a delicious meal together.

In the afternoon, we headed to the spacious Kam Tin Country Club, where fun and adventure awaited! Families explored Hong Kong’s largest lotus pond, bounced around in the giant inflatable playground, and wandered through the organic vegetable garden. It was a perfect setting for children to play freely and for parents to unwind amidst nature.

This wonderful excursion not only deepened our understanding of Chinese culture and local heritage but also strengthened the bonds between families and the school. Seeing parents, teachers, and children laughing and learning together was truly the highlight of the day.
